Care Home Visit
| Mel Tidbury
WOW-absolutely fantastic & highly recommend 5*. We went to dinosaur world live at wembley day before & paid double the price per ticket & my son was a little disappointed as you could see the puppeteers so took the excitement away. he loved dino4hire & believed they were real (even crying when trex came out) All the audience got up close to the dinosaurs, stroking them, meet & greet at end with photos. You had a history lesson throughout & even i learnt things i didnt know. The souvenirs you could purchase at end were good value for money & quality-my son loves his tshirt, lanyard & bracelet, doesnt want to take off๐ cannot wait to see again ๐

Care Home Dinosaur Visits with Ranger Chris and Baby Bramble
Bring genuine joy, curiosity, and connection into your care home with a one-hour interactive dinosaur visit from Ranger Chris and Baby Bramble, our gentle, lifelike robotic dinosaur.
This experience is designed specifically for care homes and assisted living settings. It is calm, flexible, and focused on meaningful interaction with residents, not noise or spectacle.
What the Visit Includes
Ranger Chris arrives with Baby Bramble and adapts the visit to suit your residents and your space. There is no fixed format and no pressure. Everything moves at the residents' pace.
During the hour, Baby Bramble can:
- Visit residents in their own rooms
- Spend time in communal areas or lounges
- Interact gently with individuals or small groups
- Spark conversation, memories, and smiles through touch and movement
Residents can watch, chat, stroke Bramble, or simply enjoy the moment. Some engage straight away. Others warm up slowly. Both are absolutely fine.
Why a Dinosaur Works So Well in Care Homes
This is not a gimmick, and it is not about dinosaurs specifically. The dinosaur is a tool. What matters is how people respond to it.
We consistently see:
- Increased engagement from residents who are usually withdrawn
- Strong emotional reactions including laughter, curiosity, and calm
- Conversations opening up naturally between residents, staff, and families
- Moments that staff and relatives remember long after the visit
Baby Bramble feels familiar without being threatening. It is unusual enough to break routine, but gentle enough to feel safe.
A Safe Alternative to Animal Therapy Visits
Unlike live animal visits, our robotic dinosaur:
- Has no allergy risks
- Requires no handling precautions
- Is fully controlled by an experienced ranger
- Can visit multiple residents safely and hygienically
- Does not create stress for residents sensitive to animals
This makes it suitable for a wide range of care environments, including dementia care and residential nursing homes.
Designed for Care Homes, Delivered with Care
Ranger Chris has years of experience working with children, families, and vulnerable groups across the UK. The care home visits are approached with the same professionalism and sensitivity.
We work closely with staff on arrival to understand:
- Residents' needs and mobility
- Quiet areas versus social spaces
- Any residents who may benefit from a one-to-one visit
Nothing is rushed. Nothing is forced.
A Unique Care Home Activity That Truly Connects
If you are looking for a care home activity that is genuinely different, emotionally engaging, and easy to manage, this is it.
A visit from Ranger Chris and Baby Bramble offers:
- A memorable experience for residents
- Positive engagement without overstimulation
- A talking point for families and staff
- A simple, self-contained activity requiring minimal setup
Care Home Dinosaur Visits are available across the UK and can be booked directly through Dinomania.
